In the aftermath of India’s defeat to South Africa in the opening Test, Jasprit Bumrah approached Temba Bavuma after controversy. Bumrah and Rishabh Pant were caught on the stump mic, calling Bavuma bauna.

Bumrah showed respect by interacting with Bavuma after the match, offering a handshake.

South Africa pulled off a remarkable comeback after being dismissed for 159 after electing to bat first on day one. They stunned India by 30 runs to claim victory in the first Test at Eden Gardens on Sunday. Chasing 124, India crumbled to 93 in 35 overs on day three.
