Kagiso Rabada has rated South Africa’s win over India in the first Test at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The visitors registered a 30-run victory inside three days, their first win in India after 15 years. “It is right up there. With the type of victories that we have achieved this season, it is hard to say because we have been part of epic wins.

“We find ways to win matches. Temba has been crucial for the team, but he hasn’t played all the matches. I didn’t play the first Test. It doesn’t matter. We believe that any player can do the job for us.”

South Africa secured 12 points in the Kolkata Test, and the team has now reached second in the WTC points table. The second Test will be played at ACA Stadium in Guwahati on Saturday.

Simon Harmer was named the Player of the Match for taking eight wickets in the Test. Chasing 124 runs, the hosts were dismissed for 93 runs.
