A new video has now surfaced online, showing Smriti and Palash performing a smooth and well-coordinated dance routine.

The video shows Smriti putting a garland on Palash as he leans forward in a gesture of respect. Many were taken aback to see Smriti, known for her shy nature, shining so confidently on stage. Her unexpected boldness left the cricket world pleasantly surprised. Players from the Indian women’s cricket team also joined in and gave a performance during the event.

The Engagement: The couple made their engagement public last week in a fun and unexpected way. Smriti uploaded an Instagram reel that went viral, showing her dancing with teammate Jemimah Rodrigues and Shreyanka Patil, and showing her ring right at the end. Palash later posted a touching video of his surprise proposal at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, the same venue where India recently won the Women’s ODI World Cup.

Haldi and Mehendi: The pre-wedding events were vibrant and full of excitement. At the Haldi function, Smriti wore a bright yellow outfit and happily danced with her “team bride” squad, which included Shafali Verma, Renuka Singh Thakur and Radha Yadav. For the Mehendi celebration, she switched to a lovely purple dress, adding even more charm to the occasion.
