There was no improvement in the operations of Indigo, the country’s largest airline company, for the fifth consecutive day on Saturday. In such a situation, apart from facing problems, the passengers are also worried whether the ticket money will be refunded or not. In view of this, the Civil Aviation Ministry has ordered the airline to give refund to all the passengers by December 7. Let us know how you can get a refund.
For refund, go to ‘Support’ option on the official website of IndiGo. Select ‘Plan B’ to start the process of refund or change/cancellation. Enter your PNR/Booking Reference Number and Email ID/Last Name here. You can choose to change or cancel your flight here. In this, you can change the time or date of the flight or choose the option of getting a refund. There will be complete relaxation on flight cancellation and rescheduling requests between 5-15 December.
If you have booked through any travel portal then you have to contact MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Yatra, EaseMyTrip. Refunds will be processed through that agency. Online travel booking platform ixigo has announced that it will refund the full convenience fee and assurance fee to customers whose flights have been canceled by IndiGo between December 3-8. Apart from this, users can contact its support team for assistance.
