Arshdeep Singh, known for his performances on the field, has also made a name for himself on social media. The Indian pacer continues to shine in T20I cricket, while his entertaining videos keep fans hooked. In a recent conversation, he shared that the inspiration to start a YouTube channel came when he was dropped from India’s squad for the first match of the 2025 Champions Trophy.

India’s decision to go with four spinners in the Playing XI for the majority of their Dubai-based games meant that Arshdeep Singh remained on the bench for the entire tournament.

“When I found out I wouldn’t be playing in the first match of the Champions Trophy, I felt really bored in my room. That’s when I decided to start my YouTube channel, and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise,” Arshdeep told JioHotstar.

“I always look for the positive side of things. At times, you just have to appreciate the fact that you’re playing at this level.

You also need to be patient and wait for your chances, and when they come, make sure you seize them,” he added.

Although he couldn’t score a third ton, he remained unbeaten on 65 off 45 balls as India chased down 271 in 39.5 overs, winning the match by nine wickets and securing the 2-1 series victory.
