The blistering knock against UAE also earned him a place in the record books. His 171 now stands ninth on the list of highest individual scores in men’s Under 19 ODIs.

Asked about the sudden surge in attention, Suryavanshi remained grounded in his response. “I don’t pay attention to these things. I try to keep my focus only on my game,” he said.

He admitted that he does hear about such developments at times. “Yes, it feels nice when you hear about it. I look at it, feel good for a moment and then move forward,” Suryavanshi added.

The broadcaster during the interaction pointed out that research showed him topping Google searches in India over the past year, even ahead of Kohli, while also featuring among the most searched personalities worldwide.

With runs flowing and attention intensifying, Suryavanshi continues to let his performances do the talking while handling the spotlight with maturity beyond his years.
