India has taken a 2-1 lead in the series by winning the third T20 match against South Africa by seven wickets. In this match played in Dharamshala, Indian bowlers performed brilliantly and all out South Africa for just 118 runs. Arshdeep Singh took two important wickets for 13 runs and was adjudged player of the match. Harshit Rana, Varun Chakraborty and Kuldeep Yadav also took two wickets each. However, despite the victory of the Indian team, the batting form of captain Suryakumar Yadav and vice-captain Shubman Gill remains a cause for concern. Suryakumar scored 12 runs off 11 balls, while Shubman Gill scored 28 runs off 28 balls, which was a slow innings as per the T20 format.
This form is a big challenge for the team management and selectors, especially with the T20 World Cup around the corner.
