The youth Indian cricket team continues to perform brilliantly in the Under-19 Asia Cup 2025.

After registering huge victories in both its opening matches of the tournament with complete dominance, the Indian team registered another big victory. Captain Ayush Mhatre's team scored a hat-trick of wins by defeating Malaysia by a huge margin of 315 runs in its third match of the group stage. Team India had scored 408 runs on the basis of Abhigyan Kundu's record-breaking double century but Malaysia team collapsed for only 93 runs.

Abhigyan's record double century

In this Group A match played on Tuesday 16 December in Dubai, the Indian team batted first. The Indian team, which scored 433 runs against UAE, once again crossed the 400-run mark.

Like that match, once again Vaibhav Suryavanshi made a stormy start and scored a quick half-century but the star of this innings was the wicketkeeper-batsman. Abhigyan KunduKundu, who had played many small and big fast innings in the middle order, this time he breathed his last after creating history,

Abhigyan completed his half-century in 44 balls and his century in 80 balls, but as soon as he crossed the 100 mark, the Malaysian bowlers were blown away by his storm. He also scored the next 100 runs in the next 41 balls and scored his double century in just 121 balls.

Especially he scored this double century at number 5 and made the biggest score in this tournament. Apart from him, Vedant Trivedi also played an inning of 90 runs. Muhammad Akram took maximum 5 wickets for Malaysia.

Malaysia defeated Deepesh

This goal was always going to be impossible for the Malaysian team. But the team must have expected to give some competition. However, this could not happen and the entire team collapsed for just 93 runs. The reason for this was medium pacer Deepesh Devendran who took 5 wickets in his first 5 overs.

7 wickets had fallen for only 38 runs. In the end, Hamza Pangi scored 35 runs, on the basis of which the team somehow managed to reach 93 runs.
