14 MPL players selected in IPL and WPL, Mahaaryaman said – Giving opportunity to new talent is our priority

Madhya Pradesh Cricket League (MPL) has once again given recognition to the cricket talent of the state on the national stage. this time IPL And a total of 14 players associated with MPL have been given a chance by various franchises in the Women's Premier League (WPL). The special thing is that these include many players who till now did not get the opportunity to play in the senior team of the state.

In the men's category, Venkatesh Iyer has been included in its team by Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Shivang Kumar has become a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mangesh Yadav RCB and Akshat Raghuvanshi Lucknow Super Giants. Kuldeep Sen will play for Rajasthan Royals. Delhi Capitals has retained Madhav Tiwari, while Gujarat Titans have retained Arshad Khan, Lucknow Super Giants have retained Avesh Khan and Sunrisers Hyderabad have retained Aniket Verma. At the same time, Rajat Patidar has also been retained by RCB.

MPL Chairman and MPCA President Mahaaryaman Scindia said that it is a matter of great pleasure for the players of Madhya Pradesh to be selected in the IPL. He said, this time 14 players have been selected.

We want to increase this number further, so that the representation of Madhya Pradesh is strengthened at the national level and new talent gets an opportunity to come forward. Giving opportunities to the youth is my priority.

Reached IPL even without playing state team

Madhya Pradesh Cricket League is proving to be a big launching pad for the youth of the state. Like Aniket Verma last season, this time two male players Shivang Kumar and Mangesh Yadav have made their place in IPL only on the basis of their performance in MPL.

Sanjeevani MPL for women players

MPL Women's Tournament has also opened new avenues for the daughters of the state.

This time four players have got a chance in WPL from the Women's MPL which started last year. Kranti Gaur (UP Warriors), Sanskriti Gupta (Mumbai Indians), Rahila Firdous (Mumbai Indians), Pooja Vastrakar (RCB) and Anushka Sharma (Gujarat Giants) have become part of the IPL teams. Some of these players are now representing India at the international level also.
