Lucknow. Yogi government is going to give a big gift to the youth of the state next year. Recently, in a high level meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had asked the officials for details of department-wise vacant posts of government jobs, so that appointments can be made on the vacant posts. After review, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given permission to provide 1.5 lakh government jobs to the youth of the state in the year 2026. These jobs will be given in various departments of the state including police, education, revenue, housing development. In this, maximum recruitment will be done in Police and Education Department. With this, the record of giving maximum number of government jobs in 2026 will also be registered in the name of Yogi government. Yogi government will be the first government in the state, which has given the gift of providing one million government jobs in ten years.

Yogi government’s confidence will increase among youth through transparent and fair recruitment
Yogi government has given more than eight and a half lakh government jobs in various departments to the youth of the state in the last eight and a half years. All these recruitments were done in a transparent and fair manner. This has strengthened the trust of the youth of the state on the Yogi government. There was no transparent environment in government recruitments in Uttar Pradesh during the earlier governments.

Record one million government jobs in ten years
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently held a meeting with higher officials. In the meeting, CM Yogi asked for information about vacant posts in various departments of the state. If sources are to be believed, the Yogi government will issue recruitment advertisement for about 50-50 thousand posts in the police and education departments in the year 2026. Along with this, there will be recruitment on 20 thousand posts in Revenue Department while it will also recruit on vacant posts in Prison, Housing Development, Child Development, Nutrition and Health Department. The work of advertising the recruitment process in different departments is in the final stage. The recruitment process has already started in some departments. After the completion of the proposed recruitment process, by next year the Yogi government will become the first government which has given a record one million government jobs in ten years.

Maximum recruitment in police and education department
As per the intention of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to provide government jobs to more and more youth of the state in a transparent manner, so far 2.19 lakh posts have been recruited in the police department. In this sequence, on the instructions of CM Yogi, in the year 2026, the police department will issue recruitment advertisement for about 50 thousand posts. Final preparations in this regard have been completed. In the year 2026, the police department will recruit 30 thousand constables and 5 thousand sub inspector posts. Apart from this, recruitment will also be done on 15 thousand different posts in the department. At the same time, official sources of the Education Department have revealed that recruitment will be done on about 50 thousand posts in the Education Department also. This recruitment will be on posts ranging from assistant teacher to lecturer, principal etc. Similarly, there will be recruitment on 20 thousand posts in the Revenue Department, in which maximum recruitment will be done on the posts of Accountants. Along with this, recruitment will be done on 30 thousand posts in various departments including health, housing development, prison, child development and nutrition. According to information received from different official sources, the total new recruitments will be more than 1.5 lakh.
