Can anyone feel satisfied by watching the clash between India and Pakistan on the cricket field? Whatever the format, whatever the teams, whatever the level… whenever these two teams clash, the curiosity, excitement and thrill is always at its peak. Especially when a young and explosive batsman like Vaibhav Suryavanshi is about to enter the field, then the anxiety about it increases further. The same impatience, enthusiasm and excitement will also be seen in the match to be held at the ICC Academy in Dubai on Sunday 21st December, when India and Pakistan will compete for the trophy of Under-19 Asia Cup 2025.
In this entire tournament, the teams of India and Pakistan have looked the most dominant. Both teams won the group stage matches easily. Then won the semi-finals also without any problem. While the Indian team defeated Sri Lanka by 8 wickets in the semi-finals, Pakistan also defeated Bangladesh by the same margin. While in the group stage, the Indian team won the match by a margin of 300 runs, Pakistan also registered a similar victory.
Despite such a strong performance, there was one difference between the two teams in this tournament and Team India, captained by Ayush Mhatre, will aim to maintain this in Sunday's final. This is the difference between each other. Even before this final, the Indian team had faced Pakistan in the tournament and there Team India had won by a huge margin of 90 runs. In this way, Team India has not lost even a single match in the entire tournament, whereas Pakistan has been defeated once.
Team India had won that match but the fans were disappointed with one thing. 14 year old opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi could not bat in his explosive style in the last match against Pakistan. Only 5 runs had come off his bat then and he was the first one out. But everyone knows that Vaibhav is not one to give up easily and never misses a chance to make a comeback. In such a situation, he would like to settle the score of his previous failure in the final. He has already proved to be India's second most successful batsman by scoring 223 runs in this tournament. Now he will be desperate to take the team to the title.
