Pacer Ashok Sharma was bought by Gujarat Titans for a price of Rs 90 lakhs at the IPL 2026 auction being held in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

The Rajasthan bowler will play in the IPL for the first time in his career.

The 23-year-old has had an inspiring start to his domestic T20 career, picking up 20 wickets in nine matches at an average of 14.80 and is currently the leading wicket taker in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025.

Ashok touches speeds of 150 kmph and calls himself a ‘hard lengths’ bowler. He also carries the experience of being a net bowler previously for the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Rajasthan Royals.
