Delhi: The return of explosive wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan to Team India after almost two years has made his family as well as cricket fans emotional. Ishan Kishan’s name was included in the Indian team announced for the T20 World Cup on Saturday, after which there is an atmosphere of happiness in his house.

Mother became emotional on Ishan Kishan’s return

After Ishaan’s selection, a video of his mother Suchitra Singh is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In the video, she is seen emotional while talking about her son’s return to Team India. On the question to the selection, Suchitra Singh’s eyes fill with tears and her voice wavers. She is seen thanking God with tears.

She told that when she got the information about her son’s selection, she was doing puja. He said that Ishaan has worked hard and by the grace of God his hard work has paid off.

Grandparents also jumped with joy

Ishaan’s grandparents are also very happy with his selection. The family hopes that 27-year-old Kishan will play an important role in India winning the title in the upcoming T-20 World Cup. Ishaan’s grandfather Shatrughan Prasad said, “It is a matter of happiness not only for me, but for the whole of Bihar and the whole of India. A great player was out of the team, but now he has returned. This will prove to be good for the team and we have high expectations from him.”

Grandmother told Chayan that the decision was taken late

Ishaan Kishan’s grandmother Savitri Devi also expressed happiness over the selection. He said, “This selection should have been done earlier. We had already expected it. We are very happy with Ishaan’s selection and thank the selectors for this. Today is a happy day for us. The selection committee has recognized our son’s talent. We are confident that Ishaan will help India win the trophy.”

Great performance in domestic cricket

It is noteworthy that Ishan Kishan could not make a place in the Indian team after November 2023. During this period, he played all three formats in domestic cricket and consistently performed brilliantly. Recently, as captain, he made Jharkhand win the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy title. In the final match, Ishan Kishan proved his ability by playing a brilliant inning of 101 runs.
