She has become the highest run-scorer for India in T20 Internationals and has also become the first Indian female cricketer to touch the 4000-run mark. Suzie Bates has scored 4716 runs so far in this format.
Mandhana’s name joins the club of Rohit and Virat
Smriti Mandhana has become the first Indian woman cricketer to score 4000 runs in T20I. If we talk about Indian T20 cricket—including both men’s and women’s—she became the third player to achieve this feat. Before Mandhana, only Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli had crossed this milestone for India in T20 International.

Mandhana faced 3227 balls to complete 4000 runs, while Suzie Bates took 3675 balls to achieve this milestone. Now this record has been registered in the name of Mandhana.
