IPL 2026 Lucknow Super Giants: There are still more than three months left for the start of IPL 2026, but Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have started their preparations in full swing. Lucknow Super Giants have taken a big decision to end the drought of their first title in IPL. Some Indian players of this team are soon going to be seen in a foreign T20 league. The special thing is that the Board of Control for Cricket in India has also given permission to Lucknow Super Giants.

LSG's Indian players will go to this foreign league

According to a report by Cricbuzz, Lucknow Super Giants is planning to send its domestic fast bowlers to South Africa before IPL 2026, where they will train with Durban Super Giants. Durban Super Giants is LSG's sister team which plays in the SA20 league. The SA20 league is starting from 26 December. During this time, LSG bowlers will be able to hone their skills by practicing with the players of the Durban team. The names of Avesh Khan and Mohsin Khan are included in the initial list, while Naman Tiwari can also join this group. These bowlers can leave for Durban any time next week.

Let us tell you, all these players are not in the central contract of BCCI nor are they playing with any state team, hence the franchise has taken permission from BCCI keeping the rules in mind. The objective of this scheme is to provide match fitness to those players who have been away from the field for a long time due to injury. Especially Avesh Khan and Mohsin Khan, who are suffering from injuries, will be able to make their comeback easier with this training. Madhya Pradesh's right-arm fast bowler Avesh Khan has not played any match since the last IPL, while Uttar Pradesh's left-arm pacer Mohsin Khan could not play even in that season.
