According to the report of Cricbuzz, the names of Avesh Khan and Mohsin Khan are considered fixed in this list, while young left arm pacer Naman Tiwari will also be a part of this group. These players are expected to fly to Durban next week, where they will train with Durban Super Giants players during the SA20 2025-26 season.

Actually, Durban Super Giants is a subsidiary franchise of LSG and both have the same management. This is why LSG wants to keep a close eye on the fitness and recovery of its bowlers. The good thing is that these three players are neither under the central contract of BCCI nor playing Vijay Hazare Trophy, hence necessary permission has also been received from the board.

For 20 year old Naman Tiwari, this tour is completely a part of the development plan. The franchise is considering this young pacer, who was bought for Rs 1 crore in the IPL 2026 auction, as a long-haul horse. Naman, who bowls at a speed of more than 140 km per hour, has not yet made his domestic debut.

LSG’s special training program will be overseen by Lance Klusener, Tom Moody, Bharat Arun and Karl Crowe, who are all associated with both Durban Supergiants and Lucknow Supergiants. According to the report, depending on the improvement in fitness, Avesh and Mohsin can also make a comeback in the second phase of Ranji Trophy starting in late January.
