Vijay Hazare Trophy: Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 started with the explosive batting of two greats of Team India, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Both the players scored centuries for their state teams Mumbai and Delhi in the first round and also won the hearts of the fans. According to the instructions of BCCI, all the players of central contract are required to play at least two matches in this tournament.

When is the next match of Rohit-Virat?

The second round of the tournament will be played on 26 December. Rohit Sharma will be seen in action with Mumbai team against Uttarakhand in Jaipur. This match will start at 9 am at Anantam Cricket Ground, Jaipur. Jaipur fans had welcomed Rohit very well in the first match, so this time too it is expected that there will be a lot of enthusiasm in the stadium.

Whereas, Virat Kohli will face Gujarat from Delhi side. This match will be held at the BCCI Center of Excellence Ground in Bengaluru and will start at 9 am. Like the first match, this too can be played behind closed doors, but seeing Virat's form, the fans are eagerly waiting. This return of both the players is giving new energy to domestic cricket, and the ODI preparations of Team India are also getting stronger. Both these players also have to play an ODI series against New Zealand next month.
