Sunrisers Hyderabad head into IPL 2026 with a batting lineup built around power, aggression and sustained high strike rates. With several players capable of clearing the boundary at will, SRH possess one of the most dangerous batting units in the tournament.

Heinrich Klaasen remains SRH’s premier hard hitter. The South African wicketkeeper-batter has scored over 400 runs in three consecutive IPL seasons at a strike rate exceeding 170. His ability to dominate both pace and spin in the middle and death overs makes him SRH’s most valuable batting asset.

Travis Head brings fearless intent at the top of the order. Known for his clean striking and ability to take on fast bowlers from the outset, Head can dismantle bowling attacks quickly when he gets going.

Abhishek Sharma has established himself as one of SRH’s most consistent power-hitters. With back-to-back IPL seasons of over 400 runs, Abhishek’s aggressive approach during the powerplay and middle overs makes him a key pillar of the lineup.

Liam Livingstoneacquired at the IPL 2026 auction, adds raw muscle to the middle order. The England all-rounder is capable of hitting towering sixes against both pace and spin, providing SRH with a true enforcer.

Pat Cummins contributes valuable lower-order hitting. While primarily a bowler, Cummins has shown the ability to clear the ropes when SRH need quick runs late in the innings.

Aniket Verma offers supporting power in the middle order. Though still developing at the IPL level, he has shown the ability to step up and hit boundaries under pressure.

With Klaasen anchoring the middle order and explosive support from Head, Abhishek Sharma and Livingstone, Sunrisers Hyderabad enter IPL 2026 with a batting group capable of delivering high-impact, hard-hitting performances.
