Virat Kohli will enter Vijay Hazare Trophy again

Rohan Jaitley has announced that Virat Kohli will play in the match against Railways on January 6 at the BCCI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru. This will be his third match in the tournament. Actually, Kohli himself wants to play one more match to prepare for the home ODI series against New Zealand. This series will start from January 11. Kohli has batted brilliantly in the two matches played so far, scoring 131 runs in one and 77 runs in the other. Delhi has also got an important victory from these innings.

Delhi and Districts Cricket Association president Rohan Jaitley told PTI, 'At present, he is playing. Virat has informed his availability for three matches. On the other hand, a BCCI source said that the Indian ODI team for the New Zealand series will assemble in Vadodara by January 8, there is a possibility that Kohli may reach a day earlier and start practicing.

A chance to take revenge from the railway team

Earlier, Virat Kohli had also played a match against Railways in Ranji Trophy. This match was played in January 2025, which was their first domestic first class match after a long wait of 12 years.
