The Reliance Foundation organised ‘United in Triumph’ on Monday (January 5) in Mumbai to express gratitude and honour the World Cup heroes for their historic achievements. The event was graced by three World Cup-winning captains - Rohit Sharma, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Deepika TC. The three captains appeared on stage alongside Nita Ambani, founder and chairperson of the Reliance Foundation.

Rohit, a five-time IPL-winning captain with the Mumbai Indians, was accompanied by his wife Ritika Singh. Several other prominent cricketers were also present at the event, including Sachin Tendulkar,Yashasvi Jaiswal, Suryakumar Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Sunil Gavaskar, Smriti Mandhana, and Jemmiah Rodriguez, among others.

The event was organised to honour the three World Cup-winning teams. The Mumbai Indians owner expressed her gratitude to the three teams for bringing the nation joy and happiness.

“All three cricket teams, the men's cricket team, the women's cricket team and the blind cricket team of India are all here under one roof, and on behalf of every Indian, we are going to honour them tonight for giving us so much joy and happiness”, Nita was quoted as saying by the Mint.
