Decades old records on Nazul land canceled, 15 days ultimatum to the owners
Sitapur. Taking a major administrative step, Municipal Council Sitapur has started action to cancel several illegal encroachments on the portion of Nazul Block No. 1437 located at Town Hall Complex, Civil Lines and the “Demand/Indraj” registered in the tax register. Through these notices issued on January 7, 2026, the municipality has made it clear that it will not tolerate any kind of illegal encroachment on its valuable property.
The Municipality has made it clear in its notice that the ownership of Nazul land section 1437 vests in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
