Delhi: Today, in the first match of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026, the teams of Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are facing each other. This match is being played at Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy ground in Navi Mumbai. In the match, RCB won the toss and decided to bowl. Batting first, MI scored 154 runs at the loss of 6 wickets.

Sajna-Carey lead MI to respectable score

Mumbai Indians did not have a good start. Lauren Bell troubled Amelia Kerr (4) in the opening itself and took her wicket in the powerplay. After this, Nate Sciver-Brunt also could not last long and was out for 4 runs in the seventh over. In this way, Mumbai had a weak start, but the team soon started recovering.
