Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has been in the headlines for the past few weeks and the reasons for it are not very good. The board has refused to send its team to India for the T20 World Cup and has asked ICC to change the venue of its match. Now he is in trouble due to the rebellion of his own players, due to which he had to postpone his T20 league. A player of the Bangladeshi team has been involved in both these incidents and that is Mustafizur Rahman. The same Mustafizur, because of whom Bangladeshi Board got into trouble with India and ICC, has now stood against the Board.

In fact, Bangladesh Cricket Board, which had been at loggerheads with BCCI and ICC for the last few days, suddenly had to face rebellion at home. In fact, BCB director Nazmul Hasan had given a controversial statement saying that Bangladeshi players should return the crores of taka that the board spends on them. Immediately after this statement, Bangladeshi players started revolting and started boycotting BPL, due to which two matches of the league had to be postponed.

This rebellion was started by Bangladesh Cricket Welfare Association (CWAB), in which all the senior players of the current Bangladesh team were included. Left arm fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman also took part in this rebellion against the board. Mustafizur's standing with the rebel players has come at a time when the board has opened a front against BCCI and ICC because of him. Obviously, Mustafizur's involvement in the rebellion would have been no less than a shock for the Bangladeshi board officials.

Just a few days ago, BCCI had ordered to expel Mustafizur from IPL. The Bangladeshi pacer was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL auction by paying a hefty sum of Rs 9.20 crore. But due to the ongoing violence against minority Hindus in Bangladesh, protests against this player started in India. Only after this BCCI had ordered his removal. Since then, BCB has refused to send its team to India for the T20 World Cup and is adamant on demanding change in the venue. Efforts are on from ICC to convince him.
