Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women defeated Delhi Capitals Women by eight wickets to retain the top position after winning all their matches so far in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026. The match was played on Saturday, January 17, in Navi Mumbai.

Captain Smriti Mandhana produced a sensational knock, scoring 96 off 61 deliveries, narrowly missing out on a century. She was well supported by Georgia Voll, who remained unbeaten on 54 off 42 balls and ensured there were no further hiccups in the chase. For Delhi Capitals Women, two bowlers managed to pick up one wicket each.

She shared a dominant 142-run partnership in just 91 balls with Georgia Voll, guiding Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women home comfortably and helping them maintain their unbeaten run in this year’s tournament.
RCB Women pacer Lauren Bell was the standout bowler of the match, finishing with impressive figures of 3/26 in her four overs at an economy rate of 6.50.
She removed key batters Shafali Verma, Lizelle Lee, and Laura Wolvaardt during her spell, playing a crucial role in restricting Delhi Capitals Women.
Smriti Mandhana was awarded the Player of the Match for her brilliant 96-run knock off 61 balls.
She formed a crucial partnership with Georgia Voll, guiding Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women to a convincing victory.
Delhi Capitals Women will face Mumbai Indians Women on Tuesday, January 20, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women will take on Gujarat Giants Women on Monday, January 19, in BCA Stadium, Kotambi, Vadodara.
