The in-form South Africa will take on the Zimbabwe challenge in the T20 World Cup 2026, match no. 51 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on March 01. 

With the Proteas already sealing their semifinal spot and Zimbabwe, led by Sikandar Raza, already eliminated from the competition, this will be a dead-rubber contest between the two African teams. 

The 2024 T20 World Cup runner-ups have been sensational throughout the tournament, winning all of their six games so far in the ongoing multi-national marquee event.

With already qualified, this match will give them a  chance to try a few things before the all-important semifinal clash.

Zimbabwe, on the other hand, would want to end their campaign on a high, after a disappointing Super 8 stage performance. They had a good run in the group stages but have failed to replicate that in the later stage.
