Team India once again won the T20 World Cup title. After defeating New Zealand in the final, the Indian team got its name written on this shining trophy for the third time and made the entire country happy by raising it high in the air. About 88 thousand spectators witnessed this memorable victory at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
But one special person could not watch this match on this ground and he was Ishan Kishan's father. Ishaan scored an excellent half-century in this match but his father could not see it because a day before the final, his family suffered a big shock.According to the report of Times of India, just a day before the final, Ishan Kishan's cousin and her husband died in a road accident. Ishaan's father Pranav Pandey was going to Ahmedabad to watch the final. He told that Ishaan wanted to see him at the stadium, so he was leaving for Ahmedabad on Saturday, but as soon as he reached the airport, he got this shocking news.
It has been told in the report that Ishaan's father canceled his plan to go to Ahmedabad and left for Siliguri, where this accident happened. Ishaan's sister and brother-in-law were going for a wedding when their car met with an accident. However, both his young children survived safely in this accident. When Ishaan came to know about this accident from his father, he was devastated. He wanted to see his sister for the last time but it was not possible due to the finals. Despite this, he maintained his courage and came on the field on the day of the final.
Ishaan, who is playing the biggest match of his career so far, scored 54 runs in just 25 balls and helped the team reach the big score of 255 runs. Not only in batting, but also in fielding, Ishaan showed his talent and made a big contribution in helping the team win by stopping the ball several times and taking 3 brilliant catches. Ishaan would have been happy to see him doing all this in the stadium in front of his father but it could not happen. But he did the same to his family and his late sister for whom he has been playing cricket for so many years.
