Zimbabwe has won the fifth T20 match by defeating Bangladesh by 8 wickets.

BAN vs ZIM 5th T20I: The last match of the five-match T20 series between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe was played in Dhaka in which Zimbabwe won by defeating Bangladesh by 8 wickets on the basis of half-centuries from Sikandar Raza and Brian Bennett.

In the last match of the series, Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza won the toss and chose to bowl first, after which Mahmudullah Riyad scored the highest innings of 54 runs on 44 balls for Bangladesh.

Apart from Mahmudullah, Nazmul Hussain Shanto (36), Shakil Al Hasan (21) and Zakir Ali (24) also contributed by scoring some runs for the team, due to which the team's score reached 157 after 20 overs.

In response, the Zimbabwe team, who came to bat, got its first blow in the 5th over of the power play and opening batsman Tadivanashe Marumani became the victim of Shakib Al Hasan after scoring only one run on 7 balls. However, after this the Zimbabwe team made a comeback and there was a partnership of 75 runs for the second wicket between Brian Bennett and Sikandar Raza.

Brian Bennett scored 70 runs in 49 balls with 5 fours and 5 sixes. On the other hand, Sikandar Raza remained unbeaten and scored 72 runs off 46 balls with 6 fours and 4 sixes. The innings of both these players ensured Zimbabwe's victory and the team won by achieving the target of 158 in 18.3 overs.

Also know that for Zimbabwe, Blessing Muzarabani and Brian Bennett took 2 wickets each. Whereas Wellington Maskadza and Luke Jongwe took one wicket each.

Only Shakib and Mohammad Saifuddin were able to achieve success for Bangladesh. Both the players took one wicket each. It is noteworthy that Bangladesh won this five-match series by 4-1.
