Arjun Tendulkar has said that he follows former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh apart from his father, Sachin Tendulkar. In IPL 2026, Arjun is associated with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), with the Rishabh Pant-led team competing against Delhi Capitals (DC) on April 1.

Arjun recently spoke to Shubhankar Mishra, where he was asked about his cricketing idol besides his legendary father.

He named Yuvraj, saying that he loved his batting style while also sharing that he took the help of the former cricketer to correct his back lift and grip.

“Yuvraj Singh. His batting and what could be better than the way he batted. I worked with him to correct my back lift and the grip,” he said.

In 399 international matches for India, Yuvraj scored 11,686 runs at an average of 34.98, including 71 half-centuries and 17 hundreds. He also picked up 147 wickets.

Meanwhile, Kapil Dev is Arjun’s favorite seam-bowling Indian all-rounder.

The former skipper led India to the World Cup title in 1983 and was a part of 356 matches across Test cricket and ODI, dismissing 687 batters. Kapil also scored 9,031 runs, including nine hundreds and 41 fifties.

Ben Stokes is Arjun’s favorite overall all-rounder, and he highlighted the England Test captain’s 135-run knock against Australia in the Ashes in 2019. Stokes has amassed 11.264 runs in 277 international matches, with the help of 19 hundreds and 62 fifties. He has also picked up 345 wickets.
