A solid knocks from Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head, and fifty from Heinrich Klaasen has powered Sunrisers Hyderabad to 226 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 02 at Kolkata.

A fiery start from the openers and a composed knock from Klaasen has set up a mammoth target against Knight Riders at Thursday’s clash.

After invited to bat first, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma opened the innings while Vaibhav Arora opened the bowling attack.

The duo made a solid start scoring 82 runs for the first wicket. Kartik Tyagi bagged the wicket of Head for 46 runs as SRH scored 84 runs in the powerplay. Travis Head’s knock included 6 four and 3 sixes.

Blessing Muzarabani bagged the wickets of SRH captain Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma in a single over destroying the top order.

Aniket Verma who made a crucial knock against RCB, got dismissed for 1 run by Anukul Roy.

Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Kumar Reddy forged a partnership, however the run flow has reduced with back to back dismissals.
