Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) take on rivals Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Match 11 of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) season at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday, April 5, as part of a double-header weekend.
RCB come into the game after winning the opening game of the new season against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Garden City. Deciding to bowl first, the champions restricted SRH to 201 after Jacob Duffy and Romario Shepherd took three wickets each. In reply, they chased down the total with more than four overs to spare thanks to Devdutt Padikkal’s 26-ball 61 and Virat Kohli’s unbeaten 69, resulting in RCB winning the game by six wickets.
CSK, meanwhile, have suffered two defeats from two matches. After losing by eight wickets to Rajasthan Royals, the five-time champions once again finished second best to Punjab Kings (PBKS) at Chepauk. Despite putting 209 on the board, last year’s runners-up chased down the total with five wickets and eight balls to spare, thanks to Shreyas Iyer’s 50 and Priyansh Arya’s 11-ball 39.
Both sides are coming into the game on Sunday in contrasting forms. The game, however, should be an exciting contest with two very strong sides in action, comprising excellent T20 players. Some players involved in the game are veterans of the shortest format of the game, with a host of games under their belt. It is, therefore, very likely that some of these stars have a personal milestone in their sights when they take the field in Bengaluru.
Here are the important upcoming milestones for players of both teams: RCB Players' Upcoming Milestones
