The Rajasthan Royals have secured back-to-back wins in the ongoing IPL 2026 season and will be aiming for their third win in the upcoming game.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Indians secured a win and a defeat and will be aiming for a win in the upcoming clash.

Both sides have met on 31 occasions, where the Mumbai Indians have won 16 occasions while the Rajasthan Royals have 14 wins, with one game ended with no result.

The rain has interrupted the game and will start on 10:10 PM IST with the toss at 09:55 PM IST. It will be a 11-over game and powerplay will be 3.2 overs.

Mumbai Indians won the toss and opted to bowl. Speaking at the toss, MI captain Hardik Pandya said, “We are going to bowl first. It has been under covers, in rain effected games you should bat second. That has always been back of the mind. It is just start of the season and we are bound to make mistakes, you don’t win IPL in the first couple of weeks.

RR captain Riyan Parag said, “We would have done the same thing actually. It was supposed to be dry but then it rained a lot. It is what it is. We have had two different types of games, but really happy with how the boys handled the pressure. Same team.”
