Delhi:The 15th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 will be between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). This match will be played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Before this match, former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra has strongly criticized KKR openers Ajinkya Rahane and Finn Allen.

Akash strongly criticized Rahane and Allen. He also told what strategy Lucknow will adopt against Rahane and Allen. He believes that Lucknow will bowl with the new ball to fast bowler Mohammed Shami and spinner M Siddharth.
While talking on the YouTube channel, Akash said, “LSG has won only one match and lost one so far. They lost against Delhi and won against Hyderabad. They won that match very well.
Shami was excellent in the last match. He gave only 9 runs in 4 overs, bowled 18 dot balls and took 2 wickets. Now all eyes will be on him.”Akash further said, “Shami will be expected to take wickets with the new ball, whether it is Rahane in front, Finn Allen or Cameron Green at number 3. Shami will prove to be dangerous with the new ball. I think you can also see M Siddharth bowling with the new ball, because Finn Allen is not able to play spin well and Rahane is also not able to hit big shots against spin. If it were me, I would have done the same.”
KKR looking for first win
KKR has not been able to open a winning account yet in this season. KKR had lost its first two matches. The third match against Punjab Kings was canceled due to rain. On Thursday, KKR would like to register their first win of this season by defeating Lucknow.
