IPL Biggest Record: Vaibhav Suryavanshi will set all time record in IPL 2026. This claim has not been made by us but by his coach. Now the question is what will be that all time record? While talking to TV9, Vaibhav Suryavanshi's coach Manish Ojha also told about that. But, before that, we would like to draw attention to the things said by the 15 year old young batsman during the NAMAN Awards. Vaibhav Suryavanshi was asked a question about the goal of IPL 2026? He was asked whether he was thinking of breaking Chris Gayle's record of 175 runs? Vaibhav Suryavanshi had then replied that he does not know about Chris Gayle's record but this time also he intends to do something big.
Even though Vaibhav Suryavanshi had not told what is his goal regarding IPL 2026? But now his coach Manish Ojha has revealed the intentions of his disciple in a conversation with TV9. He did not say this in reference to Vaibhav, but after seeing his disciple play so far in IPL 2026 and the way he has played, he definitely said that this time he is going to make an all-time record.
According to Manish Ojha, the all-time record set by Vaibhav Suryavanshi will not be able to break Chris Gayle's record of 175 runs. Rather it will be a double century. According to the coach, the way Vaibhav Suryavanshi is seen playing this time, he will definitely play an inning of 200 runs in some innings and set an all-time record.
Till date, the record of the biggest innings in IPL history is in the name of Chris Gayle. Playing for RCB in IPL 2013, he scored 175 runs against Pune Warriors. The same record made by Gayle has remained intact for the last 13 years. In the corridors of cricket, Vaibhav Suryavanshi is expected to break Gayle's record this time. But, coach Manish Ojha feels that Vaibhav will not stop at 175 runs. He can write a different record-breaking script by scoring a double century in IPL 2026.
