IPL 2026 KKR vs LSG Playing 11: Ajinkya Rahane-led Kolkata Knight Riders will square off against Rishabh Pant-led Lucknow Super Giants in the 15th match of the IPL 2026 on April 09 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Kolkata Knight Riders suffered two defeats, while their third game against Punjab Kings was called off due to rain. They are in search of their first win in the ongoing IPL 2026 clash

Meanwhile, Lucknow Super Giants have one win out of two games and will be aiming for their next win in the upcoming game.

Lucknow Super Giants won the toss and opted to bowl. Speaking on the toss, LSG captain Rishabh Pant said, “Looking to bowl first. We want to put the opposition into bat, we trust our bowlers to do the job.”

“Definitely a victory adds to the atmosphere in the team. We are playing with the same team. Our feel our top order is batting heavy, but we trust our top order to get us through.”

KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane said, “We wanted to bowl. (Referring to his decision to bat in the previous match) That match didn’t get over, so you never know. Sunil comes in, Varun is still recovering from his hand injury. Whem Cam Green bowls then we have an extra bowler.”
