Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s storm blows away RCB in IPL 2026

15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi decimated Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Match 16 of the Indian Premier League 2026. Chasing 202 runs, RR reached the target in the 18th over, with six wickets in hand. Sooryavanshi was the star of the run chase, scoring 78 runs off 26 balls, laced with 8 fours and 7 sixes.

His runs came at a strike rate of 300 and added over 100 runs with the wicket-keeper batter Dhruv Jurel.

Rajasthan posted over 90 runs in the powerplay overs. Jurel took his time and allowed Vaibhav to take on the bowlers, but once Krunal Pandya dismissed the young batter, he started hitting big shots. He remained unbeaten on 81 runs off 43 balls, with the help of 8 boundaries and 3 maximums.
