An emergency meeting was called and a big decision was taken against the player who had posted something on social media due to which people got hurt and took action against him.
The reaction to the same action was his ban. We are talking about Nepalese cricketer Karan KC, who is also the first bowler to take a wicket on the first ball thrice in T20 International.Karan KC has been banned for one match as well as fined, the amount of which is equal to 100 percent of his match fee. Now the question is, what did the Nepali cricketer post on social media? He did such an act last Saturday i.e. on 11th April while playing in the Prime Minister Cup One Day National Cricket Tournament, after which action was taken against him.
Karan KC wrote on social media that what would happen if a player accidentally beats an umpire during a match? There was a lot of discussion about this post of his. The officials associated with the match, including the umpire and scorer, all called an emergency meeting and expressed their protest against it.
Seeing the sharp attitude of the umpires, Karan KC deleted the post and apologized to them.
But, according to him, mere apology is not enough. The umpires demanded necessary action against Karan KC from the Cricket Association of Nepal, after which he was banned for one match and also fined.In the year 2024, Karan KC became the first bowler to take wicket on the first ball thrice in T20 International. He got this success in 2 matches against Hong Kong and 1 match against Malaysia.
