IPL 2026: Heinrich Klaasen created history in SRH VS RR match, broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record

Delhi:The 21st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) took place between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Rajasthan Royals (RR). This match was played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Where Hyderabad defeated Rajasthan by 59 runs in a one-sided match. During this match, Hyderabad’s ace batsman Heinrich Klaasen broke Sachin Tendulkar’s big record.

Klaasen broke Sachin’s record

Klaasen played an inning of 40 runs against Rajasthan. With this, he left Sachin behind and came at sixth position in terms of scoring most runs in the first 50 innings of IPL. Sachin had 1683 runs in his name after 50 innings. Whereas Klaasen now has 1704 runs in his name. Chris Gayle had scored the maximum runs in the first 50 innings. Gayle had scored 2236 runs in 50 innings.

Two debutants defeated Rajasthan

Batting first, Hyderabad scored 216 runs in 20 overs thanks to captain Ishan Kishan’s explosive 91 runs in 44 balls and Klaasen’s 40 runs in 26 balls. While chasing the target, Rajasthan’s two debutants Prafulla Hinge and Saqib Hussain won the match for Hyderabad with their bowling.

Hinge dismissed three Rajasthan batsmen in the very first over.

Hinge took four wickets for 34 runs in a total of four overs. Saqib completed the remaining work. Shakib took four wickets for 24 runs in four overs. Due to which Rajasthan was all out for 159 runs in 19 overs and lost the match. This was Hyderabad’s second win in 5 matches of the season. Rajasthan’s first defeat there. Rajasthan is still on top in the points table. Hyderabad is at fourth position.
