After scoring a fifty in the previous game, Kohli played another impressive knock in match 23 of the 19th season of the tournament. Virat Kohli (RCB) – 228 runs in 5 innings
Heinrich Klaasen (SRH) – 224 runs in 5 innings
Rajat Patidar (RCB) – 222 runs in 5 innings
Ishan Kishan (SRH) – 213 runs in 5 innings
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (RR) – 200 runs in 5 innings

Kohli spoke about his performance and his illness.

“Much better than the last game, still not 100%. My knee was sore in the last game, and even health-wise, I was under the weather for the last four or five days. I am happy with my intensity as I wanted to take the game head-on. I should have finished that game off as well.

“There was not enough grass on the pitch, and it was slower than normal. The last few days have been very hot. The pitch was different, and the idea was to take the game away from the opposition in the powerplay. Happy with my approach today,” Virat Kohli said.
