There has been an uproar regarding the player of the match in the match played between RCB and LSG. The debate on this uproar has intensified ever since former Indian cricketer and commentator Aakash Chopra has also termed it as injustice done to someone. In the match played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, RCB defeated LSG by 5 wickets with 29 balls remaining. This is the first time that RCB has defeated LSG in a match played at Chinnaswamy. But, the player who got the Player of the Match for this big victory is a bit beyond comprehension. Controversy has arisen over that.

Aakash Chopra raised questions on Player of the Match

In RCB's win against Lucknow Super Giants, the Player of the Match was given to Josh Hazlewood, who took only 1 wicket. Hazlewood took the only wicket of Nicholas Pooran while giving 20 runs in 4 overs. Whereas, Rasikh Salam's bowling graph was better than him. 26 year old Rasikh Salam took 4 wickets for 24 runs in 4 overs. Aakash Chopra raised questions regarding this and asked why Rasikh Salam did not get the player of the match? This is injustice.
