Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated the Chennai Super Kings by 10 runs to go 4th in the IPL 2026. CSK, who were on a two-match unbeaten run, were let down by the failure of the batters. Chasing 195, the five-time champions reached 184/8 in their allotted 20 overs.
Sanju Samson was dismissed for 7 runs off 3 balls while captain Ruturaj Gaikwad remained a walking wicket, amassing 19 runs off 13 balls. Ayush Mhatre posted 13-ball 30, but an injury impacted him. He struck 5 fours and 1 six.
