Whenever Lucknow Super Giants captain Rishabh Pant comes on the field with the bat, a big innings and explosive batting is expected from him. He has not been very successful in doing this so far in IPL 2026. In such a situation, questions are constantly being raised on him. But Pant showed his stormy style against Punjab Kings, where he could not play a big innings but he hit some explosive shots. In this, he hit a shot with one hand, on which the ball fell straight outside the boundary.

Pant's one-handed strength surprised everyone. He did not stop here and after this he kept the team's hopes alive by hitting two more sixes. But when he seemed to be in full swing and it seemed that this time he would play a big innings and take the team closer to victory, then his wicket fell.
While trying to play Arshdeep Singh's ball towards third man, Pant was caught by the wicketkeeper. Pant scored 43 runs in just 23 balls, which included 4 sixes and 1 four. With Pant's dismissal, Lucknow's hopes of victory were also dashed.
