With this victory, Rajasthan reached second place on the points table. Now the stalwarts of the cricket world are giving their reactions on the match between these two teams.

Cricket legends’ reactions on LSG vs RR match

Chris Srikkanth- Former Indian player Kris Srikkanth criticized the Lucknow team after the match. Speaking on his YouTube channel, he said, “Nicholas Puran was looking in good form today, but as soon as he tried to play the first big shot, he was out. He should bat at number 3 only. Aiden Markram looked so confused that he could not understand where the ball was coming from.”

Srikkanth further said, “Mitchell Marsh was batting very well and he only needed two good partnerships.

He also got a partnership with Pooran, and this was the right time when Ayush Badoni could have come in handy at No. 6. He could have moved the ground well and rotated the strike, but instead you got Badoni to open.”

Wasim Jaffer- Former Indian player Wasim Jaffer believed that Himmat Singh had a chance to emerge as a hero in the match. But he could not take advantage of this opportunity.

While talking on his YouTube channel, Wasim said, “Himmat Singh had a great opportunity to become a hero today, but he missed this opportunity.

At that time the required run rate was only around 10, so it was not that it was very difficult to achieve the target. Such opportunities are very important for uncapped players, and today Himmat Singh had such a big opportunity.

Manoj Tiwari- Former Indian cricketer Manoj Tiwari advised the team management of Lucknow to convince Rishabh Pant. Speaking on Cricbuzz, he said, “This team has players who can achieve this target at any time. Winning and losing is a part of the game, but the kind of batting that happened was quite disappointing.

For example, let’s talk about Pant’s shot selection. If Pant is batting in the top order, then the coach should explain to him that he should play only normal (orthodox) shots, because he has the ability to do so.”
