Sports Desk. On the basis of half-centuries of Virat Kohli (81) and Devdutt Padikkal (55), RCB defeated Gujarat Titans by five wickets in IPL 2026 on Friday, defeating Sai Sudarshan’s century. In the match played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru achieved the target of 206 runs given by Gujarat in 18.5 overs. This is RCB’s 5th win in IPL 2026.
Gujarat was successful in scoring 205 runs on the basis of Sudarshan’s century inning of 100 runs. Virat Kohli (81) hit eight fours and four sixes in his innings.
During this innings, he also registered a big record in his name. He completed his eight hundred fours in IPL.With this, he has become the first cricketer to hit eight hundred fours in IPL. Virat Kohli has hit 807 fours in 274 matches so far. After this, the name of former batsman Shikhar Dhawan is at number two. He hit 768 fours in 222 matches in IPL. David Warner is third with 663 fours, Rohit Sharma is fourth with 653 fours in 276 matches and Ajinkya Rahane is fifth in the list with 522 fours in 205 matches.

Virat Kohli has now joined the list of cricketers who have hit 300 sixes in IPL. Kohli completed 300 sixes in IPL when he hit a six in the match against Gujarat Titans. He has now hit 303 sixes in IPL. Gayle has the record of hitting most number of sixes in IPL. Hit 357 sixes in 142 matches. Whereas Rohit Sharma is at second place in this list by hitting 310 sixes in 276 matches.
