The match to be played between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday 25th April is going to be very special. This will be the second clash between the two teams in IPL 2026. The first win was in the hands of Sunrisers and now Rajasthan has a chance to settle the score. But there is a different reason for this match to be special and it is Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who was out on the first ball in the last match between the two. This time, Vaibhav will not only try to make up for his loss, but he also has a chance to hunt another giant.

This match will start at 7:30 pm on Saturday evening at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. As important as this match will be for Vaibhav Suryavanshi, it will be equally important for Sunrisers Hyderabad because after half the season, team captain Pat Cummins is finally returning. Cummins, who has returned to the IPL after completely recovering from his back injury, has now taken charge of the team after the successful leadership of Ishan Kishan and will return to the field in the match against Rajasthan.

This is the only clash which is eagerly awaited in this match. In the match between Sunrisers and Rajasthan, all eyes are on the match between Vaibhav and Abhishek to see who plays more effective innings for his team in this match, whereas the real match will be between Suryavanshi and Cummins and the reason for this is not hidden from anyone now.

The matter is simple – whichever veteran bowler of international cricket Vaibhav has faced this season, 15-year-old star Suryavanshi has shown the way to the boundary with his very first ball. Vaibhav has done wonders against legendary bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah, Josh Hazlewood, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Trent Boult, Rashid Khan and now it is Pat Cummins’ turn.

However, personally, this match will be important for the young opener of Rajasthan Royals. In fact, in the last 3 matches, Vaibhav has not been able to perform as per his reputation and it started with the match against Sunrisers. In that match, Vaibhav was out without opening the account on the very first ball against debutant Praful Hinge. Its effect was visible in the next match, when he scored only 46 runs in 28 balls against Kolkata. Then in the next match against Lucknow, playing an even slower and shorter innings, Vaibhav was out after scoring 8 runs in 11 balls. In such a situation, Vaibhav will have the goal of regaining his rhythm.
