Royal Challengers Bengaluru dismiss Delhi Capitals for 75 runs, secure 9-wicket win

The DC vs RCB match in Delhi was a one-sided affair with the defending IPL champions securing a 9-wicket win to take their points count to 12 from 8 matches. Delhi Capitals were dismissed for 75 runs in 16.3 overs, and the Bengaluru franchise completed the chase in 6.3 overs.

Jacob Bethell, who was playing his second game in the IPL 2026, scored 20 runs off 11 balls, including 2 sixes and 1 four.

Virat Kohli managed 23 runs not out in 15 deliveries, laced with 2 sixes and 1 four. Devdutt Padikkal accumulated an unbeaten 34 runs off 13 deliveries, with the help of 3 fours and 3 sixes.

Earlier, the Axar Patel-led team lost ground in the powerplay overs, losing 6 wickets for 13 runs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood did the damage, with both pacers picking up three scalps each at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
