Gujarat Titans played a perfect game against the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru, securing a 4-wicket win at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The win was set up by bowlers, who didn’t allow RCB batters to break free. Chasing 156, the home franchise reached the target in 15.5 overs, with Rahul Tewatia (27 off 17) and Rashid Khan (7 off 6) remaining unbeaten.
Captain Shubman Gill was magnificent, posting 43 runs off 18 deliveries, including 4 boundaries and 3 sixes. Jos Buttler also played a good hand, accumulating 19-ball 39, laced with 4 sixes and 2 fours.
