Rohit Sharma Masterclass: Rohit Sharma was not playing in the match between Chennai and Mumbai. He was sitting in the dug out outside the field. But he was free to guide the players of his team. The result of the match against Chennai Super Kings may not have been in favor of Mumbai Indians in the end. But while sitting outside the field, a beautiful glimpse of his masterclass was seen as he helped his team's 20-year-old bowler Allah Ghazanfar get a wicket.
Rohit Sharma has experience of 467 T20 matches, out of which he has played 276 matches on IPL pitch. In such a situation, when the experience of the hitman and the talent of young enthusiasm came together, a tremendous miracle was seen on the field. Following the advice given by Rohit to Allah Ghazanfar while sitting in the dugout outside the field, he killed CSK's dangerous looking batsman Urvil.
Patel was clean bowled tremendously. As per Rohit, the effect was seen in just 5 balls.
When Allah Ghazanfar was bowling the 5th over of CSK's innings, he got advice from Rohit sitting in the dugout on the 5th ball of that over and Ghazanfar got the benefit of it in his next over. Allah Ghazanfar clean bowled Urvil Patel in 5.4 overs. Urvil Patel was playing at a strike rate of 200. He scored 24 runs in 12 balls. In such a situation, after his dismissal, Mumbai Indians got some relief. Allah Ghazanfar took the only wicket of Urvil for 40 runs in 4 overs, which he got on the advice of Rohit.
Allah Ghazan-far too good for the batter! 🤯
