Delhi Capitals (DC) vs Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) IPL 2026: Finn Allen slammed his maiden IPL century as he guided Kolkata Knight Riders to their 4th straight win of the season, handing a 8-wicket thrashing to the Delhi Capitals. Allen took 47 balls to reach his 100 as he got to his milestone with a big six in an innings studded with 5 fours and 10 maximums. Pathum Nissanka started well for Delhi with 50, but the hosts lost wickets in a bunch before Ashutosh Sharma played a 39-run cameo in the end to save their blushes.

Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and opted to bowl first vs the Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Friday. Kolkata will play with the same team, while Delhi made two changes with Vipraj Nigam and Mukesh Kumar coming in for Natarajan and most likely Kuldeep Yadav. Axar Patel’s DC have imploded by inexplicable means, losing four games on the bounce at home in less than a month. Having shot themselves in the foot, Delhi can only hope to get up to 14 points with wins in all the remaining matches.

With tactical blips and the captain’s poor batting form hampering the team, even a well-rounded bowling attack has not helped Delhi’s cause this season. Not far from that are KKR, who have struggled for rhythm but have attained some balance on the back of their quality spin attack, finding feet again. In Sunil Narine, Varun Chakaravarthy, and Anukul Roy, Delhi have to confront a stern test on weary pitches at home.
