Her previous appearance T20 World Cup comes from 2018 where she played 5 matches for England who ended up as runner. She confirmed to play for Scotland last December, however, she has recently recover from the back injury.

Scotland head coach, Craigh Wallace confirmd that it was difficult in selecting a squad from a large pool of talented players.

“It was hugely difficult to select a fifteen, but that’s a testament to the growth and success of the women’s game in Scotland over the last few years.

“The depth we have now to choose from is incredible and every selection is enjoyable, but really tough. I think we’ve got a really good balance in the squad in terms of what we think we need to succeed in this tournament,” Wallace said.

Scotland are also boosted by the return of Kirstie Gordon, who has featured for England in the past.

“We have multiple world-class players in this team, and Kirstie (Gordon) is definitely one of them,” Wallace said.

“We welcome her involvement in the group and expect her to drive our standards up even more and help us to improve Scottish cricket. I’m looking forward to working with her and helping her enhance her own skills as well.”

Placed in Group 2, Scotland will be playing their group stage games against West Indies, New Zealand, England, Ireland and Sri Lanka.

As per the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 schedule, their first match will be played against Ireland on June 13 at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester.
