Rajasthan Royals (RR) starlet Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is reportedly attracting huge offers from companies to become his bat sponsor, including some of the leading tyre manufacturers in the country. This comes after the 15-year-old's breakout season in the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL), where he is currently leading the Orange Cap leaderboard, having scored 680 runs at a strike-rate of 242.85.
According to CricBlogger, Sooryavanshi currently pockets a mere INR 50 lakh per year through his current bat deal. However, the organisation is willing to let go of its prized asset to any brand that agrees to buy out the left-hander's ongoing three-year deal.
The RR opener is such a hot commodity that an unnamed company has offered him a blank cheque to endorse their brand on the bat.Based on the current market, a top-tier Indian batter gets anywhere from INR 3 to 8 crore per year through his bat sponsorship deal. Sooryavanshi, meanwhile, is in line to pocket more than the established superstars like Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill, both of whom represent tyre manufacturer MRF. According to the aforementioned source, however, Sooryavanshi has been offered upwards of INR 12 crore, which is a whopping 24 times more than his current deal.
“If Rishabh Pant who is only playing one format can demand are 8 annually, it is quite obvious that Sooryavanshi has hit the roof with his sensational batting,” a source said to CricBlogger.
Despite these huge amounts being floated, it is extremely difficult for traditional bat manufacturers to offer anything more than INR 5 crore, and even then, the deal will consist of a few performance-related clauses for extra incentives. However, tyre brands like MRF and CEAT are capable of spending heavily to secure top talent.
Sooryavanshi's outstanding season in the 2026 IPL has put him on the cusp of making his international debut in the near future. The opening batter is expected to be part of the India squad, which will travel to Ireland for two T20I matches in late June.
